Comparing Our Top 3 Jogging Strollers
It can be hard to decide on the best jogging stroller for you and your little when there are so many options to choose from and each one has tons of great features! Well we’re here to help by comparing our top 3 joggers: the BOB Revolution Flex, the Baby Jogger Summit X3, and the Bumbleride Indie.
These joggers have a few things in common that the mama who is looking for a jogging stroller are going to expect. All three have a wrist strap that connects to the handlebar, and a foot brake to lock the stroller in place. Both the BOB and the Bumbleride have a push down/flip up style brake, and the Baby Jogger you push down on the back pedal to lock, and push down again to release. You can see how they work by checking out our comparison video!
To help make your jog smoother when going over different terrains, each of these strollers features front wheel locks, and each stroller has a reclining seat to make those longer rides more comfortable for your little one. All three of the strollers have adjustable 5-point harnesses. Keep in mind that you should only use a jogging stroller with a babe who is able to support their own head and neck (around 6mo).
So we’ve covered the basics, lets take a look at the things that make these strollers unique!
BOB Revolution Flex
The BOB Revolution Flex has a spacious, padded seat to maximize comfort for your little one. It even has pockets on the sides of the seat for them to hold their toys, books, or drinks! Once your babe reaches 40lbs you can actually adjust the suspension to help with bumps and make for an easier, more enjoyable jog for both of you. To make the stroller the right height and length for you it has an adjustable, 9 position handlebar.
The Revolution Flex has 2-step fold, weighs 28lbs, and has a weight capacity up to 75lbs.
Baby Jogger Summit X3
The Baby Jogger Summit X3 has an extra large canopy with 50+ SPF, 2 peek-a-boo windows, and a retractable weather canopy. To keep your speed regulated and help you from speeding up too much on incline it has a super convenient hand brake.
The Summit X3 has a 1-handed fold, weighs 28lbs, and has a weight capacity up to 75lbs.
The Bumbleride Indie has an adjustable footrest, and along with its deep incline makes it super comfortable for your little passenger. The Indie is the only one of these strollers with a belly bar, and also has a little storage pocket on the inside of the seat. One super cool feature is that all fabric is made from recycled materials! There is also a convenient phone storage pocket, and an adjustable handlebar.
The Indie has a 2-step fold, weighs 24lbs, and has a weight capacity up to 55lbs.
If you’re looking to stay active and take your little one along for the ride, any of these three jogging strollers is going to help you out! You’ll get a few unique features between the BOB, Baby Jogger, and the Bumbleride, but overall you’ll be investing in a quality jogging stroller that you and your child will love.
