Reasons to Love the Baby Jogger City Mini GT Double Stroller

Reasons to Love the Baby Jogger City Mini GT Double Stroller

Are you in the market for a double stroller? Do you want a stroller that's easy to use, maneuvers through small spaces, and fits two or three children comfortably? If so, you definitely need to check out the Baby Jogger City Mini GT double stroller! There are so many reasons to love this stroller. Here are a few of our favorites:

Simple Handbrake

I love that the brake on the Baby Jogger City Mini GT double stroller is on the handlebar and can be easily locked into place with one hand! I think this is much more convenient than a foot brake, especially if you have to lift the brake up with your toe to unlock it! I know this seems like such a small thing, but it can be such a pain to unlock your brake when you're wearing open-toed shoes or sandals. Or even shoes that you just don't want scuffed! I also think it's much more convenient to lock and unlock a brake that's located on the handlebar because it's literally within reach.

Easy Access to Both Children

Being able to easily access both of your children is SO important, but I've seen so many double strollers that make this so, so difficult! There are so many inline double strollers where one child sits behind and slightly below the other child, and it's so much more difficult to reach both children. Since the seats of the Baby Jogger City Mini GT double stroller are next to each other, being able to talk to and help both of your children is just as easy as it would be if they were in a single stroller.

Adjustable Handlebar

The adjustable handlebar is another great feature of the Baby Jogger City Mini GT double stroller. With a simple click of the buttons on both sides of the handlebar, you can raise or lower the handlebar to suit users of all heights! This also comes in handy when you're using the optional glider board (more on that in a minute).

Front-Wheel Suspension for a Smooth Ride

When my little boy was younger, we used to walk to a nearby park almost every day so I could get some exercise and he could get some outdoor playtime. As we cut through on a little path through the woods, I'd watch him bounce along as we went over tree roots and dips in the trail. Our stroller obviously didn't have front-wheel suspension, but I'm sure he would have loved the 8.5” all-terrain non-flat tires with front-wheel suspension on the Baby Jogger City Mini GT double stroller, because they would have provided a much smoother and more comfortable ride!

Optional Glider Board Fits Three Children

The optional glider board is a great option for mamas with an older child who is too big or too independent to be strapped into a stroller seat, but who isn't so big or so independent that he doesn't still like having a chance to ride along and get a little break now and then! And let's be honest, nobody is too old to want that every once in a while. ;)

Fits Easily Through Standard-Sized Door Frames

This is probably one of the biggest concerns people have when they're debating between buying an inline double stroller and a side-by-side double stroller. And for good reason! I think we've all seen someone struggling to maneuver a stroller through a narrow doorway or even sometimes through the narrow aisles in a store at the mall. So if you're shopping for a double stroller and you're concerned about that, the Baby Jogger City Mini GT double stroller is a great option for you because it easily fits through standard-sized door frames.

One-Step Fold

Every mom (and dad) knows it can be hard enough to juggle one kid when you're also carrying a diaper bag and trying to fold up a stroller! And when you have multiple kids, this gets even more complicated! The quick-fold technology on the Baby Jogger City Mini GT double stroller allows you to collapse the stroller with one hand, keeping your other hand free to hold your child's hand, all the gear you have with you, or both!

The Baby Jogger City Mini GT Double stroller retails at $579.99, and it is a great option if you're looking for a double stroller that's easy to maneuver, quick to fold, and comfortably fits two or three kiddos! So if you're in the market for a double stroller, check it out! Or if you're still not sure which stroller is perfect for your family, check out our stroller buying guide!
