Let's talk about grocery shopping. It can be quite the ordeal without children, especially when you are doing a serious stock-up trip. Add a baby, or two, and you have one big problem to solve. Where on earth do you put the baby when you need to fill the whole cart with groceries? Hold onto your hats because the Binxy Baby Hammock is going to blow your mind! Seriously, I am more than obsessed with this product and I am not easily convinced.
The Binxy was designed by Lisa Pinnell: a mom that went grocery shopping with her toddler and her baby, and decided that there just had to be a better way! Car seat in the cart? No. Car seat sitting on the top front of the cart? No. Many other attempts? No. With a need to be filled and a determination to fill it, Lisa set out to create a product that would help mothers tackle their shopping needs with baby in tow.
So, the Binxy was born. And I promise you are going to be very, very happy about that! As you can see in the picture above, the Binxy Hammock suspends from the edges of the shopping cart over the basket. You can lay your baby straight into the hammock and secure them with the harness, or put the entire infant car seat in it and secure that! Now you have all the space in your cart's basket you need, and a sweet suspended baby that gets to see all of the passing colors and products of the grocery store! The best thing about it is how easy it is to use! You simply pull it out of your bag, unroll it, and snap the clips onto either side of the cart. Of course Lisa thought about safety, so there are handy velcro straps with each clip to secure it onto the cart. After that, you simply secure the car seat or your babe into the harness and you are ready to shop! The quick video here shows you the Binxy in action! Isn't it just fantastic?! I discovered it right as my baby was getting old enough to sit up on her own in the seat part of the cart, but I am SO excited to get to use it more when I have a second little one.
