Double Stroller Comparison: BravoFor2 vs. B-Ready

If you're a stroller loving family and you're adding another member to your crew, you're probably looking into a double stroller to fit your on-the-go lifestyle.

Two great options for families with 2 little ones are the Chicco BravoFor2 Sit and Stand Double Stroller and the Britax B-Ready Stroller. These two strollers are very similar in design and functionality, but very different in price-- The B-Ready ($499.99) is almost double the cost of the BravoFor2 ($279.99). So what are you getting for your money, and which one makes the most sense for your family?

Both the Chicco and the Britax can be used with 1 or 2 kids, and can be purchased as a travel system to click in your compatible infant carseats. Your also going to get an easy, compact fold with both of these strollers, which is great for convenient storing and making it easy to travel with!

You'll also experience a very similar handling with these strollers, because they feature foam-filled, rubber tires and suspension to make the ride super comfortable for your little ones and easy to push around for you. Another convenience feature that both strollers have is a large, easy to access storage basket perfect for all your goodies!

The biggest difference between the B-Ready and the BravoFor2 are the seating options, so this is where you'll probably decide if paying more for the Britax is worth it for your family's needs.

The BravoFor2 is designed to be a double stroller with a Sit/Stand seating option along with the stroller seat. So there are really only a few ways this stroller can be configured to fit your 2 little ones. On the flip side the B-Ready has 14 different riding options because it has the optional second seat, and allows for compatible infant seats/bassinets as well. How your kids ride will obviously depend on age, temperament, and where you're using your stroller, so these are more lifestyle differences that will help you to decide on the best option.

There's a couple of things that make the Chicco BravoFor2 an amazing double for the price. The back bench seat has a back rest to make riding more comfortable, which you don't often find with bench seat strollers, as well as an extended canopy to actually cover your little one sitting in the back. It also has a removable snack tray for the stroller seat, so you're not looking for extra accessories to fit snacks/toys. The BravoFor2 also has a parent station with 2 cupholders and a storage compartment which is a must for this mama! If I don't have somewhere to put my drink while I'm pushing the stroller, we're gonna have a problem.

When it comes to the Britax B-Ready there are a few features that parents say make it worth the money. The convenience features of the sandal-friendly foot break, and the height-adjustable handlebar make it more comfortable to use, and the fact that it folds up with one hand with both seats attached is a major plus! That means you're not spending time detaching seats, storing them, then wedging in the stroller base into your trunk. Such a lifesaver! You're also able to change up the seating with the front seat to either face forward or backward, and the back seat that attaches to the bottom of the base is perfect for little kids to hop in on their own. The Chicco BravoFor2 is great if you've got a kid who wants the freedom to sit or stand, and the Britax B-Ready is the perfect 2-seater that has all the convenience features parents want!
