Craft Day with the Kiddos: Fall Edition

Craft Day with the Kiddos: Fall Edition

Hello Cubby readers!

Today we have a fall scarecrow craft perfect for young kids.

You will need the following supplies:
  1. To make the scarecrows face, line up the craft sticks and then tape them across the back (this will make it easier for little hands to glue down).
  2. Have your child glue the sticks down on a piece of paper.
  3. Have them draw a mouth.
  4. Cut out the eyes, nose, mouth, hat and hair. You can just make slits in the paper and then bend them a little bit so they have texture like straw. Since my daughter is a toddler, I did this part for her but older kids would love to do it themselves.
  5. Have them glue on the facial features, hair and hat.

My little one loved counting the craft sticks and identifying shapes as we made this together.
 Happy crafting! XOXO.
