July, my favorite month of the year. Fireworks, barbecues, picnics, pool days--all my favorite summer things. July is the epitome of summer, and though this year it may look different for some of us, I'm still holding out that it won't let me down.
Here are some of this month's national "days". Celebrating them might just add a little more fun to this month!
July 1st International Joke Day
We’re starting the month off strong, and funny, with International Joke Day. Here’s a cheesy one to get your kids in the spirit. What kind of shoes do ninjas wear? Sneakers!
July 4th Independence Day (USA)
Of course, one of the most beloved holidays of the year in the US, Independence Day! Happy 4th of July friends. May your day be filled with lots of food, fun, and fireworks!
July 7th National Father Daughter Take a Walk Day
This national holiday is pretty clear cut--if you’re a father and you have a daughter, then do the right thing and take a walk. Get some fresh air, go to the park, find some cows to watch, or whatever you love to do on your walks.
July 8th National Freezer Pop Day
Do we really need an excuse for a freezer pop during these summer days?? Probably not. But, in case you do, today’s the day to bust them out! If the sticky mess scares you away from these frozen treats, try them out in the bath. Game. Changer.
July 9th Cow Appreciation Day
If you know, you know. This day is the most beloved mom holiday of the year. We’ve waited a whole year for this day. Don’t forget to take advantage of it! I’m talking free Chick-fil-A, my friends. Hop on over to their site, to check out the rules for this year, but you better believe I’m already workin’ on our cow costumes!
July 14th National Mac & Cheese Day
We call this an average Tuesday lunch at our house, but maybe I’ll throw some hotdogs on it this time and call it fancy.
July 16th Get to Know Your Customers Day
The Baby Cubby loves any excuse to get to know our lovely and loyal customers! What's something we should know about you??
July 19th National Ice Cream Day
Calling all ice cream trucks! We need no further explanation for this one. Just get it done people!
July 26th National Parent’s Day
We never get the props we deserve, but we as parents have a big-ticket to fill. Nonetheless, we are doing our best, and we’re doing a pretty good job. Hopefully today you get the recognition you deserve and pass the love on to all your hard-working parent friends!
