Keep Those Heads Covered!
Summertime is here and that means that we're going to spend a lot of time with our little ones outside playing in the hot, hot sunshine!
Whether you're at the park, your local pool, or even in your own backyard, you're going to want to make sure your babes have a little extra protection from those rays. Most of us already cover our babes from face to foot in SPF, but we're forgetting about their super sensitive heads!
Just as important as it is to make sure our kids' heads are protected in the winter, we also need to make sure they are protected in the summer. Thankfully, there are a bunch of different options for to help you keep your little ones covered for during all your fun summer activities!
If your babes are still tiny and bald, then you'll want to make sure and rub (or spray) some sunscreen on those scalps to keep them from burning. To keep them from tearing off their hats the first chance they get, you may want to think about putting them in something with a strap like one of the Briar Handmade Bonnets. These are perfect for summer, because they're made with lightweight organic cotton, and lined with pima cotton to make sure they will be comfortable all day long!
For your littles who are a bit older, and starting to sport their own personalities, you can look into getting them something like the Jack and Winn hats that work perfectly for both boys and girls! They're stylish and comfortable! Most styles come in three different sizes (S, M, and L) to fit a wide range of ages (9 months old to 6 years old) and head sizes. Check out the adorable Charcoal Trucker Children's Hat or Navy Trucker Hat! Either of these will work with any outfit or occasion, boy or girl! The Camp Series Hat in Houndstooth is a great hat with a little added style to keep your tots eyes out of the sun so they can play all day!
And to make this summer even a little sweeter, you can even rock your own Jack and Winn hats in the Wool Snapback or the Trucker Adult Hat in Navy so you can match your little one all summer long!
