We had a couple days of beautiful, summer weather a couple weeks ago, so we dug the sprinklers out of the garage and spent an afternoon in the backyard enjoying the sun! As I watched my little boy run around, I realized that the swimming suit I hoped would last another summer is definitely getting a little small. And as I was putting away his clean laundry last night, I realized that he is growing out of all of his clothes and will need new clothes for this summer! So I'm excited to share with you these 2018 summer trends for children's swimming suits and clothes, especially because it will also help me as I prepare to update my little one's summer wardrobe.
Swimsuits
These Pennie Swim swimming suits are so cute and offer sun protection without sacrificing fashion or function! I love that they have envelope tee sleeves and snaps on the bottom for easy diaper changes, so it's easy to get your kiddo into and out of her wet swimming suit! Because we all know, wiggling out of a wet swimming suit is the WORST! I also love that they're available with short sleeves or long sleeves!

We also love these Tea Collection one-zip swimmers. They don't have snaps on the bottom, but they do have zippers on the front that make getting into and out of these swimmers very easy! The bottoms of the girl swimsuits are cut with a classic bikini cut and the bottoms of the buy suit are little shorts. And for older girls, swimming suits have a rash guard top and bikini bottoms.

We're super excited to introduce Kortni Jeane swimmers. We love that all of the styles can mix and match so you can get multiple swimsuits out of only three or four pieces. I also love that all of the bottoms are high-rise, and that they're available in sizes 9-12 month, youth sizes, as well as women's sizes. So you can have cute coordinating swimmers for all of the girls in your family! They're even available in maternity, so your endless search for a cute maternity swimming suit is finally over!
We definitely don't want to leave the boys out, so let's check out these cute Rylee and Cru swimming suits for boys! I love that they're a shorter length and that they're made out of a lightweight fabric with an adjustable drawstring and a mesh liner.

Swim diapers are definitely a summertime necessity when you have little kiddos who aren't potty trained. And we love these i play., Inc. swim diapers. They fit amazingly well and definitely keep everything inside that needs to be kept inside, so no other diaper is necessary, but make sure to check with your pool!

Clothing
I love these cute, coordinating clothes from Tea Collection. It's so fun that they use the same print for a variety of sizes and styles so all of your little boys can match their big brothers and all of your little girls can match their big sisters. And look how cute these are! I just love the pineapple print pocket tee and romper (with matching pockets) and that adorable Florida citrus print on the wrap dress and romper.

These cute Lulu and Roo clothes are so fun because you can mix and match every single piece, so you can pick four or five pieces and have an entire summer wardrobe. It's like a capsule wardrobe for your kiddo! Start with a pair of shorts, pair it with a t-shirt or a tank top, and layer a sweatshirt for cooler weather. Or you can use shorts under a dress as bloomers. There are so many cute options! Here are just a few of them.
