Vista vs. Lux Stroller Comparison

Vista vs. Lux Stroller Comparison

Kensie does a fantastic job in this video, so I’ll let her be the star of the show. However, if you’re unable to watch this video right away, or simply want the highlights laid out for you on paper (er, screen), then here is a basic breakdown!

Similarities

Popular- It’s no secret that these two strollers in particular are incredibly popular. Both brands are high-end manufacturers and quite frankly, you can’t really go wrong with either of them!

Modular- Both strollers feature seats that can easily be removed and face both forward and backward.

Handlebars- Each of these strollers has telescopic handlebars. This is especially great for tall parents, because other types of adjustable handlebars don’t account for long legs. Thankfully, the telescopic motion allows for standing and walking further away from the stroller!

Recline- Both the Vista and the LUX’s seats recline with a basic maneuver.

Wheels- Both strollers feature plastic wheels and locking front wheels. Vista’s front wheels lock with a simple push of a button and LUX’s requires a quick slide of a switch. This is recommended for rough or rocky terrain.

Differences

Brakes- The LUX has a hand brake. It is simple to lock and unlock the brake and there is also a slowing option for downhill travel. The Vista has a foot brake, but not your typical toenail-ruining foot brake. All that is needed is a push for locking the brake and a push for unlocking the brake.

Seat variations- The Vista comes with a toddler seat and a bassinet for newborns and a Rumble Seat is available to purchase separately. The LUX doesn’t have a bassinet option, but instead has the option to have two identical seats attached.

Fold- The LUX folds from the middle of the frame and can accommodate both seats attached while folded. The LUX cannot stand on its own while folded. The Vista is able to stand up while folded if the handlebar is fully extended. It folds closer to the top of the frame and has an automatic lock.

Price- The Vista sits around $839 and the LUX retails for about $629.

Weight capacity- Because the seats in the LUX are the same, they can be interchanged and have the exact same weight capacity of 45 lbs. But because the Vista has two separate seats – the toddler seat and the rumble seat- they have different weight capacities of 50 lbs and 35 lbs.
