3 Hacks for Salt Water Sandals

3 Hacks for Salt Water Sandals

Salt Water Sandals are the quintessential Summertime Swag.  Every kid, boy or girl, needs a pair.  They can be dressed up, dressed down, they are perfect for church, or for the park, splash pad, or beach!  They were made to withstand the salt water in the ocean, so you can be sure that they are durable enough for any adventure you can cook up this summer. Not to mention, they go with any outfit and are so comfortable for your little ones to wear.  You can't go wrong.  Because we love this sandal so much, we are giving you 3 hacks for your Salt Waters to help you get the most out of them!

Hack #1: Getting a Better Fit

To get the sandal to mold to your child's foot better, soak them in water for 30 minutes, then put them on your child's foot and wear the sandals until they are dry.  This will help the leather stretch around those adorable chubby feet and the bottom will also mold well to the sole of the foot.

Hack #2: "Shrinking" Your Sandal

If the leather becomes too stretched out, simply get them wet and have them dry in the sun.  This will shrink the leather down; and again, if they get too tight, see Hack #1.

Hack #3: Clean Up the Mess

If your Salt Waters get dirty, simply spray with a water bottle, wipe them off and let them dry.

We love these sandals so much, and with these hacks, you can get the most out of them!  Come into the store or check out our website to see our wonderful color collection of these lovelies.  You can find them in gold, navy, red, silver, and tan.  There is something for everyone.  With 4th of July coming up, these colors will help complete any patriotic look you had in mind.

Do you have any Salt Water Sandal hacks?  What adventures have you had in your Salt Waters?

We'd love to hear about them in the comments!
