7 Easter Crafts Kids will Adore

PC: Design Mom

These 7 simple crafts are not only cute and festive decor for your homes but activities that the kids will love to help with.  I love to decorate my house for each season and my toddler is so proud seeing me display something that he helped make. These crafts are all thought of with kids in mind and are simple enough for little hands. They are a great activity to do together and a creative outlet for you and them!

Yarn Egg Surprise from Simply Modern Mom

Any craft that involves the blowing up and popping of balloons your kids are sure to love. These would be fun and different surprises to put in their Easter baskets too!

Paper Plate Bunny Rabbit by Crafty Morning

Just look at that little cute cotton ball tail! This one is super simple that the kids could probably do most of it by themselves with a little direction and supervision from you. You probably have most of these supplies at your house already, so no trip to the craft store necessary-BONUS!

Paint Filled Eggs on Canvas from Growing a Jeweled Rose

Ok this craft is what kids dreams are made of! I think these colorful canvases turn out beautifully and could actually be on display in their playroom or bedroom not just at Easter but year-round.  Just have eggs a couple times for breakfast, save the egg shells by making a small crack at the top using a butter knife and making a hole just big enough for the egg to pass through. Fill the emptied shell with paint and you have your paint bombs ready!

Easter Slime Sensory Play from Little Bins for Little Hands

This one is a great sensory activity for your littlest ones, a cool science experiment for your older kids and it is even pretty fun for adults to play with! Between helping to make the slime and playing with it, this could entertain your kids for a whole afternoon. This is another craft where you probably have most of the supplies on hand already as well.

Easter Bunny and Chick Fingerprint Craft by The Sarahndipities via The Chickabug Blog

Ok this is adorable!! All you need is a couple ink pads and a sharpie and cute little fingers to start stamping! How cute would this be on a Easter card to send to Grandma and Grandpa.

Salt Dough Easter Eggs by Design Mom

Who says ornaments are just for Christmas? I love the idea of a little Easter tree. Also could be used as a fun alternative for traditional Easter egg decorating. The kids and you can all paint and design your own eggs making the possibilities endless. You could also paint or stamp on your kids fingerprints on the eggs making it a treasured keepsake!

Easter Footprint Craft by Running4Cupcakes

I love this idea for baby's first Easter, the footie ears are too much! This cute print would also be a great gift for the grandparents and so fun for your kids to look back on and see how tiny those feet were once.

Easter is early this year so hop-to-it with these cute crafts, a perfect activity and distraction for that last longest hour before dad gets home!
