Easy DIY Holiday Wrapping Paper Kids Activity

Finding holiday crafts for children can seem a little daunting - especially when you have SO much to do! But we have this incredibly easy wrapping paper DIY will keep your kiddos busy and will bring them joy all season since their creations can be on display all season long under the tree! Check out our how-to video and step-by-step instructions below!

Supplies:

  • Butcher paper
  • Shapes template - download here
  • Sponges (pack of 2 at least)
  • Paper plate
  • Scissors
  • Acrylic paint
  • Glue sticks

Directions:

1.)  Measure out your wrapping paper to fit the gift you are wrapping up.  2.) Cut out your shapes from the downloadable template.  3.) Glue your cut out shapes to your sponge and then cut out your sponge shape!  4.) Squirt some paint onto your paper plate and then dab your sponge into your paint (try to make sure it's not too heavily coated, or just dab it off a little bit before putting it on the paper).  5.) Blot away! 6.) Let dry.  7.) Wrap your present & tie up with string! 8.) Place under the tree for all to enjoy!
