Style
There's a reason why FP went around asking a bunch of mamas what they're looking for in a diaper bag--because most of them don't get the job done while being stylish at the same time. Kind of like me when I go to the gym, you feel me?
They designed a diaper bag that is sleek, stylish, and meant to disguise what every mama knows is inside of it (aka baby craziness and crumbled gold fish).
It's going to be sold in three colors: ebony, butterscotch, and stone, and has classic, matte gold hardware for a little nod to a luxe handbag.
You may also notice it doesn't sport those oversized and saggy pouches on the side of most bags, or the 3" thick straps that make you look like you're going backpacking through the woods. Nope. All sleek, structured lines for this bad-boy bag. It also has little metal feet to keep it from getting grungy on the bottom. You're welcome.
Function
The bag is designed for your mama life, right? Right. Well, that's why it's designed to be worn three different ways: backpack style for when you're parking it up with your littles, over the shoulder for when you're running into Target for a minute (lol), and like a purse for when you're headed out for lunch with your bestie, and don't want to look like you're carrying the whole contents of your nursery on your arm.
It's also going to be a bag that lasts, which helps explain why it isn't the cheapest bag you've ever purchased. But, it's for your baby! And so, so worth it. It's made from super-soft vegan leather that wipes clean and stays mess free on the outside. And, it has an easy-to-clean nylon lining for any messes going on inside.
It also has a ton of storage for literally anything you need to put in there. Taking this bag with you to work? It has room for your laptop, paperwork, phone charger, and lunch. Taking it with you for a day trip to the zoo? It has room for your little one's snacks, extra clothes, toys, a basketball... okay, not really. But this is a deep bag that is able to fit pretty much whatever you need without making it bulky. It also has a separate zipper compartment, and a few cinched compartments inside to help keep things organized. And it, of course, has the structured side pouches which are basically my favorite feature because they are able to hold my most prized possessions-- my sodas. Enough said.
