Make Life EZPZ: The New Nordic Collection

Make Life EZPZ: The New Nordic Collection

Have you ever made your child a meal, only for them to dump it on the floor in a hot minute? Painstakingly cutting up pieces of various foods for finger-friendly eating is the name of the game for most moms of young children, and that's not even covering the demands of clean-up. Whether your child is six months or three years old, mealtimes often tend to be messy. This is normal and something we all struggle with. Here are some nifty finds to make life a little easier:

The Struggle to Self-Feed

In my mind, I know that it makes sense for my kid to learn how to feed himself. The problem occurs when I also realize that self-feeding is intensely frustrating and messy. I just find myself thinking that it's much easier to feed my child since I do it waaaay better than he does. And that worked, for a while; up until he stopped eating unless he was able to do it himself. This happened when he was about a year old, and he seriously went on a hunger strike--there was nothing I could do. Thankfully, I relented and let him take over on feeding duty, but it hasn't been easy, or clean.

First off, let's talk kid dishes. You can spend a surprising amount of money on kids dishes and utensils, only to have them thrown to the floor repeatedly, and rarely used for their intended purpose. Thankfully, science and some smart people have combined to create a dish that saves on mess, and promotes self-feeding. They're called EZPZ mats, and they definitely are easy peasy!

Recently, I was talking to a friend who was lamenting that her baby was now old enough to want to feed himself, simply because the process is so messy. So if there's a way to make your life in this area easier, why not go for it?

Stationary Plates and Other Tricks

Imagine a world where you give your toddler a plate full of prepared food, and they can't just knock it off their tray (whether accidentally or on purpose). Wouldn't that be something? With the help of EZPZ products, you can ensure that everything stays put and doesn't slip and slide around (seriously, normal toddler plates are extra slippery, why?!?). With EZPZ at your disposal, your children will be less worried about the plate itself and more able to focus on their food. These mats also work great for craft time, including finger-painting and the like.
