Quiet Toys for Those Quiet Moments

Quiet Toys for Those Quiet Moments

There are times for laughter and loud play and then there are certain situations that you need to keep our children entertained and quiet.  Here are some toys that will be life savers in those moments when you need them to play quietly:

6-Piece Pocket Pouch Prism Toy Set - Nelson
Tegu Pocket Pouch Prism

Welcome to the world of Tegu magnetic wooden blocks. These neat, not-your-ordinary building blocks will change the way that you and your child play with blocks. The colorful pieces magnetize to each other, creating endless possibilities. These 6-Piece Pocket Pouch Prism blocks are awesome because they are very portable. You can learn more about these awesome blocks from our previous blog post.

The O Ball is my go to for infants and toddlers.  It features 32 finger holes making it incredibly easy for little fingers to grip. That easy gripping feature is one of the best things about Oball since infants are born with the grasp reflex, but they do not have the dexterity in their fingers to always continue to hold on or pick up something. Oball toys were created with this in mind - helping infants develop that dexterity by offering so many large spaces for little fingers to fit into and grasp automatically.  These squishy Oballs are awesome for keeping little ones content!

Dino Car - Diplo

 PlanToys Racer - Dino

Plan Toys Racer is another great one! This cute racer comes in three styles - bunny, chicken, and duck.  Your child gets to be the driver and imagine up his or her own racetrack! The gentle curves make it super easy for even a baby to hold.

Mary Meyer - Fernwoods - River Raccoon

How cute is this Racoon?!  Well the cuteness doesn't stop there-- Mary Meyer animals  come in tons of different varieties.  They are great for imaginary play! Enjoy your quiet time ;) XOXO,
