The Perfect Little Boy Nursery

The Perfect Little Boy Nursery

The owners of The Baby Cubby, Jacque and Cameron, are passionate about families! So much so that they wanted to create a store like no other where every baby need would be covered. So, The Baby Cubby was born! And no, we're not just a store with adorable clothes from Tea Collection, the best double strollers, or great infant carriers like the Sakura Bloom Ring Sling. No, at The Baby Cubby we even have you covered on getting that perfect nursery look! So today, we have a special treat for you as we take a look at Jacque's perfect boy nursery for her youngest! You're going to want it all!

Baby boy nurseries can sometimes be difficult to come up with. You don't want them to become little-kiddish, but at the same time you don't want them to be too mature. So, what do you do? In Jacque's case she opted for a bright room with moody undertones - created by the navy blue ceiling. From there, Jacque utilized a lot of white with pops of navy, warm wood tones, and other fun colors! Combined with a woodsy theme, her baby's nursery is not only a space that is interesting for her little one to look at and run around in, but also a space that her son can grow into! Now that is double duty!

Jaque didn't let any opportunity for some fun colors go to waste. She even included her Ubbi diaper pail as part of the fun! Sometimes diaper pails can be the worst part of any nursery. But Ubbi has created some of the best diaper genies on the market! A clean look, lockable top, coated aluminum for keeping in any unwanted smells, and the ability to use regular tall-kitchen garbage bag makes Ubbi pails so worth the long-term savings - plus, they're easy on the eyes.

Utilizing a fun woodland theme, Jacque incorporated some great art pieces in warm wood frames to match the Oeuf crib and match the class and maturity of the nursery.

The woodland theme comes together with this beautiful teepee from Tnee's Tpee's! Classy and functional, a teepee is the perfect addition to any room so your little one can have a small nook of their own! This also creates a small space for them to grow into and explore - something you always want to keep in mind when on a budget.

Every nursery needs some fun PlanToys and artwork to keep things entertaining! A Treasure Island BabyLit book keeps things interesting, while a beautiful mini framed Oopsy Daisy "Sleep Under the Stars" print and pair of Freshly Picked Moccasins elevate the look. These small additions are what keep this room a baby room, signaling that this is their space and they are not just another decoration in it.

Some playful yet muted colors got brought in once again with a gorgeous felt garland hung above the bed as well as some Auggie crib sheets.

An absolute must in any nursery room is a perfect nursing chair. Jacque opted for Dutailier Navy glider, sold at The Baby Cubby as a custom order! This creates the perfect place for your baby to bond with not only you but to sit and create their own space as they get older.

Nurseries are so fun to create - but you want to make sure that you are able to pick a theme that is both versatile and lasting. You don't want to go spending a bunch of money all over again when your child is a toddler! Jacque did the perfect job of combining playfulness with maturity - making it a perfect space for any little boy.
