Video: Nuna TRVL v. UPPAbaby MINU

When I had my first baby, I found that most of the strollers on the market were large and bulky. However, if you are on-the-go or travel often, something compact is ideal. The Nuna TRVL and UPPAbaby MINU are both great options-they are compact and lightweight while still having many of the great features of full size strollers.

If you’re not sure which one is the best option for you, you can check out the comparison below.

Both strollers:

  • weigh under 15 pounds.
  • have a standing, compact fold.
  • can hold a child up to 50 pounds.
  • recline to multiple positions.
  • come with an extended UPF 50+ removable canopy and peek-a-boo window.
  • have easily accessible, large storage baskets.
  • have all-wheel suspension.
  • have stroller accessories and attachments that can be purchased separately to customize the stroller to your needs.

Nuna TRVL:

  • Comes with a storage bag & arm bar, both of which can be used for an easy carry.
  • Folds on its own with the press of a button down to a compact size (11” H x 20.25” W  x 24” L)
  • The innovative magnetic harness easily locks into place, making buckling faster.
  • Compatible with Nuna PIPA car seats without an adaptor. You do not need to remove the seat when the car seat is in place.
  • The peek-a-boo window flap cannot be folded out of the way when not in use.
  • Includes front wheel swivel that the MINU does not have.
  • Zipper in the back of seat that can be opened for extra ventilation.

UPPAbaby MINU:

  • Comes with a carrying strap (travel bag and bumper bar sold separately).
  • Simple, user-guided compact fold (11.5″ L x 20.5″ W x 23″ H).
  • 5 point harness with rethread design.
  • Compatible with UPPAbaby MINU from birth kit without adaptors and with the Maxi-Cosi and UPPAbaby Mesa car seats with adapters (sold separately). The stroller seat has to be removed to turn it into a travel system.
  • Peek-a-boo window flap can be secured out of the way for greater ventilation.
  • Slightly taller seat, accommodating taller children.
  • Slightly larger storage basket.
  • Extra compartment for storing smaller items on the back of the stroller seat.

In this video we'll give you a good view of these strollers side by side and walk you through all their great features, so you can decide which is best for you!

You can find both of these compact strollers in our store or online at babycubby.com.
