With the MESA MAX Infant Car Seat and Base, UPPAbaby is ensuring a cozy and comfortable ride for your little one while also providing you the peace of mind that they're riding in a seat that's taken safety to the max! The MESA MAX's base has two NEW features: a load leg and an anti-rebound+ panel to add even more security if a collision occurs.

Along with an even larger canopy and headrest, the seat provides additional protection from the elements as well as side-impact protection. Installation is a breeze with its SmartSecure® system and an auto-retracting LATCH design, with a European belt route option as well, giving you plenty of easy options.   • The Mesa Max seat pad, infant insert, buckle pad and shoulder pads can be machine washed on the gentle cycle. Lay flat to dry. We recommend spot cleaning the canopy and plastic parts. The harness webbing should be cleaned with warm water and Dawn soap.

What is a CPS tech?

A CPS tech is a Certified Passenger Safety Technician. Our Cubby Moms who have certified as CPS techs are specially trained on how to properly install car seats and booster seats, ensuring they know everything there is to know about keeping children safe in vehicles.
Through required continuing education courses and hours of personal research and team training, our CPS techs are able to remain up to date on the latest technical information regarding child safety.

How does a CPS tech get certified?

In order to become certified, each prospective tech must attend The National Child Passenger Safety Certification Training Program. After intensive classroom instruction, they must pass a variety of written tests, demonstrate their knowledge through hands-on skills assessments, and perform safety checks at a check-up event before becoming certified. They learn the ins and outs of car seat installation possibilities, installing car seats in different vehicles, harnessing methods, and more. The car seat and safety industry is constantly changing, so our CPS techs here at The Baby Cubby are an invaluable resource for parents purchasing a new car seat, or for ones who simply want someone to double check that their current car seat is properly installed.

Free shipping applies to standard shipping orders over $95 within the continental US. Unfortunately, orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or APO/FPO addresses do not qualify for free shipping.

Shipping Rates

Free 5-7 day shipping is available on every order over $95 (excluding taxes and shipping fees) in the continental US. If you need expedited shipping, the cost will depend on your location and how quickly you want it shipped. You can get a shipping quote in your cart at checkout.

For standard shipping, FedEx and USPS take up to 5-7 business days to deliver your order. However, most items arrive within 3-5 business days.

Returns

Returns are accepted within 30 days if items have attached tags, original packaging, and can be sold as new. 

The following items are final sale: car seats, blessing outfits, DockATots, Owlet products, teethers, pacifiers, sippy cups, bottles, crib mattresses, displays, and clearance items. Proof of purchase is required for returns. Refunds will be given by the original payment method.

Amazing Experience Buying a Carseat

Baby Cubby was AMAZING. I wanted a very specific car seat in a specific color. I called to see if they had it, and they did and set it aside for me. When I arrived, I had the car seat purchased in a matter of minutes and they carried it out to my car for me. All the employees were friendly and kind, including over the phone. The car seat is perfect and I’m excited for my baby to use it when he arrives in 6 weeks!
